New Delhi, Jan 23 (IANSlife): Spotted at the recently Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, attending the Pran Pratishtha ceremony were a bevy of Bollywood stars. Keeping up with the sentiments of the occasion the celebrities chose to dress in their ethnic best and some even took it a notch or two higher to have religious motifs sewn into their attire. Actors Madhuri Dixit Nene, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Ayushmann Khurrana, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and filmmakers Rajkumar Hirani, Rohit Shetty attended the event. Here's what they wore.

Amitabh Bachchan

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan heading to the airport wearing a white kurta-pyjama, a bandh and a shawl, which he teamed with a pair of sneakers.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt

Ranbir went with a white dhoti-kurta, really imbibing the vibe teamed with a cream-coloured Pashmina shawl, brown slippers. Alia chose a turquoise saree which distinctively featured a Ramayana-themed border adorned with embroidered images of Lord Ram, Lord Hanuman, and the Ram Setu.She wore her hair in a bun, applied minimal makeup, accessorised the ensemble with bold earrings, and left her neck bare.

Rohit Shetty

Rohit Shetty dressed in a white kurta-pajama and a gray jacket.

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal

Gilded in gold Katrina Kaif touched all the style notes, while her beau Vicky Kaushal, accessorised his cream-coloured sherwani with a man bun.

Ayushmann Khurrana

Ayushmann Khurrana looked dapper in a kurta pyjama paired with a printed Nehru jacket.

Kangana Ranaut

Kangana is not one for minimal or understated, sticking to her signature style she was seen wearing a white embroidered saree with an orange blouse featuring Lord Krishna motif holding a garland to welcome Lord Rama and a pink shawl in a photo app.

Madhuri Dixit and Dr. Shriram Nene

Madhuri Dixit looked resplendent in a yellow saree with golden shimmery borderwork complemented her ensemble with bold gold jewellery and a bindi. Her husband D.r Shriram Nene was seen in a red kurta paired with cream-coloured Patiala pants.
