Bantwal, Feb 9: In a remarkable display of courage reported from Kolathamajalu near Polali, a resident of Arala, who was bitten by a cobra, took the snake to an herbal doctor to seek treatment.
The man, while attempting to capture a small-sized cobra, was bitten on his hand.
Undeterred by the venomous bite, he managed to capture the snake and proceeded to herbal doctor Janardhana H S Kolathamajalu, known for treating patients with snakebites.
Upon confirming the snake's identity as a cobra, the doctor provided the necessary treatment, and the man has since recovered from the incident.
