Mangaluru, Feb 22: “The political outfit that questions the existence of God and does not believe in him has hurt our sentiments by using the picture of Koti Chennaya that is being revered by us with devotion,” said KT Suvarna, president of Brahmashree Billava. Vedike.

Devotees pray to Koti Chennaya in the garadis every day. Using their picture in a political program is wrong. They were quiet when an individual belonging to another religion had insulted the statue of Deyi Beideti, the mother of Koti Chennaya.”

“They are using patriotic men for their ulterior motives. People of Tulunadu will not tolerate it. Brahmashree Billava Vedike condemns it. The banner should be removed immediately,” said KT Suvarna.
