Udupi District Catering Owners' Association set for inauguration on Feb 27

Udupi, Feb 23: Naveen Amin Shankerpura, the president of the newly formed Udupi District Catering Owners' Association, announced that the association aimed at fostering sustainability and unity among catering owners in Udupi district will be inaugurated on Feb 27, 2024, at 5:30 PM.

Addressing a press conference, Naveen Amin stated, "With numerous catering owners spread across Udupi district, the inauguration is scheduled to take place at Green Acres Open Garden, Santhekatte, Udupi. The event will be blessed by Sri Sri Esha Vittaldas Swamiji of Kemar Sandeepani Math and Msgr Ferdinand Gonsalves, the vicar general of the Diocese of Udupi. The program will feature Yashpal Suvarna, MLA Udupi, Gurme Suresh Shetty, MLA Kaup, former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, businessman Prasad Raj Kanchan, State Catering Federation president G K Shetty, Dakshina Kannada District Catering Association president Deepak Kotian, and others as chief guests. Naveen Amin Shankarpura, the founder president of Udupi District Catering Owners' Association, will preside over the event."

The Catering Association emerges with the objective of uniting thousands of vegetarian and non-vegetarian caterers across Udupi district. The organization seeks to be a representative voice for the catering industry, addressing concerns related to cleanliness, price fluctuations, business challenges, and other issues faced by the industry.

The press conference included the presence of secretary Ganesh Salian, treasurer Dhikshit Shetty, vice president Julius Lewis, and advisors Bhaskar and Ramesh, along with Prajwal Shetty and Shashank.
