Mangaluru: Constitution awareness drive held amid mangrove forest in Sita river

Udupi, Feb 23: Constitution awareness drive was held in an innovative way at Saligrama Kayaking point through boats. This was held for the first time in Karnataka at Saligrama kayaking point. 

The district administration representatives went on kayaking in the Sita river and innovatively designed forming the number 75 amidst the lush green mangrove forests. 

Saligrama Kayaking point is working to create public awareness through innovative experiments in association with the district administration.


On this occasion Zilla panchayat CEO Prateek Bayal, Kundapura assistant commissioner Rashmi S R, Udupi ADC Mamata Devi, social welfare department district director Anita Madluru, probationary IPS officer Harsha Priyamvada, Brahmavar tahsildar Srikanth Hegde, Town Panchayat chief officer Shiv Nayka, Saligram Kayakinga point head Mithun Kumar Mendon, Lokesh, Vinay and others were present on the occasion.

    well done Lord noormadi Sidda the whole country you are the only CM who is trying to create awareness among public about our great constitution written by Baba....if he was not there...even in constitution Manuvada would have made its entry...
