Mangaluru: Young advocate Geeta D becomes civil judge

Mangaluru, Feb 24: Young advocate practicing in Mangaluru, Geeta D has been elected as civil judge. She had passed the civil judge exam and the oral test held by Karnataka high court in November, 2023. The high court has sent a circular on February 23 in this connection.

She obtained her graduation degree at Alva’s institute, Moodbidri, her law degree from SDM college, Mangaluru and started her legal career as a junior lawyer in the office of well-known advocates of Mangaluru, Mayura Keerti and Sharath Kumbar B.

She is married to advocate Karthik Machila. She is the daughter of D Kombegowda and Komala.
