Mangaluru: 'RIP', 'Nimnnem Utor' plays to be presented at Kalangann on Feb 25

Mangaluru, Feb 24: Two plays will be staged as part of 'Triquetra' Theatre training under the joint auspices of Mandd Sobhann's Kalakul Repertory and Karnataka State Dr Gangubai Hangal University of Music and Performing Arts, Mysore.

'Restlessness in Pieces' (RIP) – a solo performance by Savita Rani - an alumni of National School of Drama (NSD), Delhi, will be presented on February 25 at Kalangann, Shaktinagar, Mangaluru.

This will be followed the play ‘Nimnnem Utor,’ based on G Shankar Pillai's Malayalam play ‘Bharatavakyam'. It was translated to Kannada by Na Damodar Shetty and to Konkani by Vitori Karkal and Roni Crasta. The play has been directed by Viddhu Uchhil and will feature Vikas, Amrin and Savita of team Mandd.

Entry is free and open to all.
