Dubai: Gammath Kalavider’s Tulu drama ‘Vaa Galigedu Puttudana’ to be staged on Mar 9

Dubai, Mar 1: Gammath Kalavider Dubai, renowned for their decade-long dedication to staging Tulu dramas and promoting Tulu art and culture in this region, are excited to present their latest production, 'Vaa Galiged Puttudana', in Dubai on Saturday March 9 at the Emirates Theater Dubai, starting at 6 pm. The show will be presented by Precious Parties & Entertainment Services. Gates will open at 5 pm on the same day.

Patron Harish Bangera and president Rajesh Kuthar organized a 'Ticket Release' ceremony at B-Town Hotel in Capital Hotel, Jumeirah, Dubai, on February 17. Guests including Sarvotham Shetty, Joseph Mathias, James Mendonca, Syed Ajmal, Shodhan Prasad, Satish Poojary, Vasu Shetty, and Vishwanath Shetty were invited onto the stage and honored during the event.

The beautiful flyer of the drama was unveiled by all the guests on stage, followed by the release and distribution of tickets. Booking had already commenced, and many attendees purchased tickets in advance due to the limited availability.

As briefed by the director, Ranga Sarathy, Vishwanath Shetty Dubai, this Tulu drama is the newest script crafted specifically for 'Gammath Kalavider' by Sandeep Shetty Rayee. It features a title song penned by Rajaneesh Amin, which will be recorded in the voice of Dr Devadas Kapikad, and another song written by Vijaya Kumar Kodialbail. The music for the drama will be provided by Shubhakar Belapu, with backstage support from Satish Ullal and Vincy Lobo. 

The star cast features 'Ranga Kesari' Chidananda Poojary, Vasu Kumar Shetty, Suvarna Satish, Girish Narayan, Jesh Bayer, Deepthi Dinraj, Irene Cynthia Mendonca, Monappa Poojary, Prashanth Nair, Janet Sequeira, Ramesh Suvarna, Samantha Girish, Jasmitha Vivek, Gautham Bangera, Rajaneesh Amin, Amith, Deeksha Rai, and Sannidhi Vishwanath Shetty.

As always, Gammath Kalavider will continue its tradition of supporting the needy back home with any surplus from the proceeds of the event. Therefore, an appeal is being made to support this event in whatever way one can, ensuring that it fulfills their commitment to the larger society.
