Mangaluru, Mar 3: Sathish Kumpala, BJP district president for DK, strongly condemns the Congress state government for failing to deliver on guarantee schemes and for the inability to apprehend the perpetrator involved in the Rameshwaram cafe bomb blast.

Addressing the media at a press conference on Sunday, March 3, Sathish Kumpala expressed his dissatisfaction with the State government's performance, stating, "The government has failed to fulfill its promises, and today we aim to bring this to the public's attention. The guarantee schemes are not reaching the majority, with only 20% of the population benefiting. Electricity prices are erratic, and the number of free KSRTC buses for women has significantly decreased."

He continued, "D K Suresh spoke about dividing the country, and we all witnessed it. What message are they sending when they chant such slogans after winning? The recent FSL test results confirm that the words spoken were 'Pakistan zindabad.' In Bengaluru, at Rameshwaram cafe, a bomb blast occurred during peak hours, and despite having CCTV footage and other evidence, they have been unable to apprehend the suspect. It seems they are incapable of handling the situation."

Sathish Kumpala stressed, "They are not even paying teachers' salaries, and the progress initiated by us has halted due to a lack of funds. During our tenure, development was evident everywhere, but now it has come to a standstill. The Congress party in Karnataka has failed in all aspects, and they must fulfill their promises."

When questioned about specific projects that have been halted, Sathish Kumpala responded, "There is no specific project, but when you inquire about the overall development work, you can see the entire graph. This question should have been raised at the Congress Convention; there's no point discussing it in a press meet."

Regarding Arun Kumar Puthila and Satyajit Suratkal, Sathish Kumpala stated, "Arun Kumar Puthila is welcome, and we are the only party that has invited him. He has met several senior BJP leaders, and we have suggested that he join the party, after which further decisions can be made. We only talk about Arun Kumar Puthila because the media asks us; otherwise, everyone is welcome to join the party. However, tickets can only be granted after joining BJP."

Responding to questions about Satyajit Suratkal, who expressed willingness to join BJP under certain conditions, Sathish Kumpala said, "Decisions are not in our hands. If they haven't joined the party yet, why are they discussing these matters? Satyajit Suratkal and others looking to join BJP should also consider their reasons for joining."

Sathish Kumpala, Capt Brijesh Chowta, Nitish Kumar, and others were present during the press conference.
