Udupi, Sep 27: The post graduate department of social work at Milagres College, Kallianpur organized a seminar on 'Alzheimer’s and Related Disorder' to mark World Alzheimer’s Day recently.
Research scholar at Mangalore University Sr Severin Menezes presented a session on causes and symptoms of Alzheimer's. She explained the role of a social worker in Psycho Social Management of Alzheimer's patients.
Principal Dr Nery Corneli presided over.
Dean of MSW department Dr Ajith D’Souza introduced the resource person. Programme secretary Teena Machado welcomed the gathering and MSW student Mallika delivered the vote of thanks.
Jothsna compered the programme wherein 80 students from the department participated.
