Mangalore: 'Aadhaar' Enrolment Held at Press Club

Mangalore, Sep 28: As part of enrolment to the central government’s UID Aadhaar project, a registration programme was organized for DK district journalists at the press club near Urva market road here on Tuesday September 27.

‘Aadhaar enrolment’ will kick start in the district officially on September 29. Special arrangements were made for journalists in advance.

At 11 am district in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar initiated the enrolment procedure and it went on till 5 pm. Even tomorrow also journalists and their family will enrol themselves and get the card.

Speaking on the occasion Minister Palemar said that everyone should enrol in Aadhaar project as it helps to provide unique identity for every citizens in the country. It is also an useful proof of identity while casting their franchise during elections, he said.

DKWJU president P B Harish Rai, secretary Srinivas Indaje among others were present.

    All NRIs whenever you go India enrol immediately for ADHAAR in any post office nearest to your residence. This is complete identity of your status and with Biometric and finger scan this identity is above your passport.
