Mangaluru: Private bus driver assaulted by gang, accused taken into custody

Mangaluru, Mar 16: A gang assaulted a private bus driver at the State Bank bus stand in the city.

Bhaskar is the victim of this incident. It is reported that a gang attacked him with lethal weapons at around 8 pm, accusing him of conversing with a girl on the bus.

Surprisingly, the girl and the driver belong to the same community.

A case in connection with this incident has been registered at the Pandeshwar police station.

The police have informed that they have taken the accused into custody.

    A man above 18 years has the right to talk to anyone he desires and no one punish him for that. If the girl has given consent then he can talk No one can prevent him from talking. No one has the right to physically abuse a person, If the man is troubling the girl or stalking her then police is there to complain, Otheriwse attacking a person because he was talking to a girl is a crime. Its a crime against basic human right, Mine was a love marriage and I married a man from another state and we lead a happy life. Recently we divorced for some personal reasons, But we were together for almost 20 years.
