Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Mar 17: A fourth grade girl student who created voter awareness during the last Karnataka assembly elections in Bantwal taluk has gone a step ahead.

Sannidhi, studying in Balavikasa English Medium School of Mani Peraje in Bantwal is creating the same public awareness for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections too.

Sannidhi visits shops, houses and public places like bus stands to create awareness among the public about the importance of casting their vote. For the Lok Sabha elections, Sannidhi will be travelling to the neighbouring states of Goa and Kerala for 15 days as well.

Election Commission of India has also given her the required permission. She was accompanied by her friends Nireeksha, Keerthi and Pranamya last time when she campaigned during the assembly elections last year in Karnataka.

Sannidhi’s mother Leelavathi is teaching her Konkani and Malayalam languages to help her campaign meaningfully and understandable in the states of Goa and Kerala especially among the commoners of the states.

Lokesh, Sannidhi's father is supporting her noble cause of convincing voters to cast their franchise during the elections by getting pamphlets printed for her campaign in Kannada and English languages in large numbers.

The Election Commission of India has appreciated Sannidhi's efforts when she created awareness among the public during the last assembly elections of Karnataka. As soon as her exams are over Sannidhi is planning to visit Kerala and Goa to further her campaign.
