Radical extremist elements openly terrorise Hindus in Karnataka: BJP

Bengaluru, Mar 18 (IANS): Karnataka BJP has slammed the Congress government over an alleged incident of a shopkeeper being attacked by a group for playing Hanuman chalisa religious prayer in Bengaluru.

“Radical extremist elements have taken over the streets and are openly terrorising the Hindus,” Karnataka BJP wrote on social media.

The BJP said that Karnataka is bearing the brunt of Congress's blatant appeasement.

“As Rahul Gandhi declares war against Hindus, street fighters of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah have unleashed terror on Hindus for chanting 'Hanuman Chalisa',” Karnataka BJP said.

The BJP said that under Congress's rule, Hindus have been reduced to “second-class” citizens, with no “security” or “safety” for their lives.

“Theocracy has taken over in Karnataka ever since Congress came into power,” the BJP said.

The BJP had also shared the video of the assault.

The incident had taken place in Bengaluru on March 17. The police have registered a case under IPC sections 506, 504, 149, 307, 323 and 324.

The victim shopkeeper is identified as 26-year-old Mukhesh. The complaint has been lodged against Suleman, Shanavaz, Rohit, Dyanish, Taruna and others.

In his complaint, Mukhesh said that he owned a shop on the Jumma Masjid Road and on Sunday evening the accused barged inside the shop and attacked him for playing on the speaker. The complainant had also stated that he was given life-threat and attacked with weapons.

I would say here Hindus are playing that part where they terrorise others with their religion and Bhajan on loud speakers. Is it not forbidden to keep it loud? One can play in shop to only to self or customers but not whole Nation. Each one practice his religion to an extent where others don't feel disturbed. So that peace will be there. Others who protest too should not terrorise barging into the shop and demolishing . One shouldn't loose control over self. Then all are happy.

First find out what was his intention. No doubt Hanuman Chalisa playing is acceptable as per one's religion and belief but, if his intension is to play specially in Ramazan in front of Mosque/neighbors to disturb Muslim Prayers/neighbors with loud volume is not acceptable. Because here both community involved viz. Suleman, Shanavaz, Rohit, Dyanish, Taruna and others.

The act playing 'Hanuman Chalisa' in the Jumma Masjid Road area and on Sunday evening while Muslims break their fast is clearly deliberately instigated and done by the BJP to disturb the peace and harmony, and create tension. Mukhesh should be booked under the Goonda Act as well as for hurting the religious sentiments of Muslims.

Bhakhths can read news from bjp and it's watsapp affliates. Sane people who read reliable news and use some common sense wil know that issue was about playing continuous loud music from shop. As per genuine news, Hanuman chalisa was not being played. If not why wil Rohit, dhyanesh and tarun join to assault. Obviously continuous playing music will disturb neighbours. But we can't take law in our hands. And atleast in this govt , criminals are caught asap.
