Post-Surgery, Smiling is Painful For Salman

Daijiworld Media Network - Entertainment

Mumbai, Oct 1: Despite his facial nerve surgery being a success, Salman Khan still finds it hard to smile with his jaw hurting him.

Even while shooting for shows or movies, he has to take a break after every shot to let the pain go away. Explaining about his problem, he said that his problem is similar to what Jagjit Singh is going through,  if ignored.

Salman admitted that he regrets not taking a break from acting, post surgery. It is learnt that Sallu's mom too has flown in to take care of him. Speaking about it, he said, "I know it’s a fatal disorder and am trying to keep up to the prescribed post recovery treatment. And that is exactly why Mom too has flown down to Dublin to keep a check on me.”

Salman said that the surgery was not the kind where one could get healed immediately. Speaking about it, he said, "The root cause of the pain is me.Though the surgery was good, for a speedy recovery one has to go by doctors instruction”, he admits.

The actor, is currently in Mumbai for a few days to shoot for Bigg Boss 5 and will supposedly leave for Dublin tomorrow. Since the climate i Dublin is very cold, it has just added to his woes.

Explaining further Salman said, “I had become much better after the eight-hour-long non-invasive surgery. In trigeminal neuralgia disorder, one is refrained from consuming anything cold or hot, or for that matter even sit in AC for long. But sadly Dublin’s cold climate has created problems in my recovery. I shoot with ear-plugs to avoid cold. I have to go back after three-four months for a test and if that gets cleared, I will be in much better shape,” said Salman.

If his condition does not improve, our macho man said that he would surely consider another surgery, but as of now is not thinking about the negatives.
