Nihal Tauro 'Live in Shirva' in aid of Humanity Trust to be held on Dec 28

Udupi, Apr 16: Young, talented, sensational playback singer and Sony TV Indian Idol 12 finalist, Nihal Tauro will be performing in Shirva to create waves in heart sand electrify senses on December 28.

Nihal Tauro hailing from Moodbidri, Mangaluru and being mentored by his father, music has always been a part of Nihal’s growth.

Known for his versatile singing, Nihal rendered his voice as play back singer for a Bollywood movie Raksha Bandhan, a song Tere Saath Hoon Mei, for which he was the nominee for best playback Male singer of Zee Cine awards 2023. Nihal has also worked with well-known music composer & director Himesh Reshamiya and his songs are well enjoyed by his fans all around the world.

Nihal was amongst the top 5 finalist in the 12th Season of Indian Idol reality show nationally televised on Sony TV. He was one of the finalists in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Season 15 on Zee Kannada and won runner-up trophy. He won Mirchi Music Award as Best Upcoming Male Vocalist of the year Kannada 2022 for the song ‘Neene Yendigu’ from the movie Love Mocktail. He was winner of Daijiworld Studio Voice in 2017. In October 2021, he was conferred with the Kalakar Puraskar of the Carvalho Ghoranne (family) and Mandd Sobhann in Mangaluru.

Humanity Trust, an organisation founded by Roshan D’Souza in Belman-Udupi builds its mission for humanity. Over the years this trust has undertaken more than 1100 projects overlooking creed and religion and given 10 crores plus support only to make a difference in the lives of people, to improve communities, and make aware humanity.

On April 14, at the Humanity Hall Belman, the announcement to this event was made official. The event poster, teaser and tickets were released. Event poster was released by Prof Dr Grynal D’Mello, Ananthraya Shenoy and Ummarabba Ahmed, all hailing from Shirva. Event teaser was released by USWAS SHIRVA former president Vincent Corda. Tickets were released by Nihal Tauro’s parent, Herald & Precilla Tauro along with USWAS SHIRVA former president Maxim Ferrao. Well known personality MC Alwyn Danthi anchored the event with his unique style for hosting.

Roshan Menez Shirva, on behalf of the organizer, shared his interest on the works that the Humanity Trust has rendered to the society in the past years. In continuation, this upcoming event was planned to further support the needs. He introduced Nihal Tauro as one making all Mangalureans so proud to have reached such a platform. When Nihal was performing in UAE, the plan to do the same in Shirva was conceived. Towards the end, Roshan thanked all the sponsors, well-wishers, supporters, and the audience gathered for the release.

Roshan D’Souza, the founder of Humanity Trust thanked the organizers for planning such an event that would benefit Humanity Trust for all upcoming appeals. He thanked each and everyone present, all supporters, well-wishers and sponsors for the years of generous contribution.
