Uttar Pradesh, Apr 22: Anjani Kumar Pandey, originally from Pratapgarh in Uttar Pradesh, embarked on his journey as an IRS officer in 2014. Following a dedicated tenure spanning 14 years, he made the decision to step away from his role to dedicate himself to the mentorship of aspiring UPSC candidates from rural backgrounds.

Anjani distinguished himself academically, securing the top position in his BA course in 2000. He continued his academic success by achieving the first rank in MA English literature from Allahabad University in 2002. Additionally, he excelled in his B Ed studies at NREC Khurja, claiming the top spot in 2005.

Despite facing initial setbacks, including an unsuccessful attempt at the UPSC in 2009, Anjani persevered and triumphed in 2010, securing his position as an IRS officer. He further showcased his literary talent by penning the widely acclaimed book "Allahabad Blues."

Driven by his passion for serving society and empowering rural youth, Anjani is committed to guiding and nurturing young UPSC aspirants. His influence extends beyond traditional avenues, as he maintains a strong presence on social media, where he openly shares his UPSC marks card.
