PM Modi wishes victory to BJP's Capt Brijesh Chowta in Lok Sabha polls

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Apr 22: BJP candidate in Dakshina Kannada Capt Brijesh Chowta received a letter from Prime Minister Narendra Modi wishing him victory in the election.

In the letter, shared with the media, the PM has lauded Chowta’s exceptional services in the armed forces as a part of the Gorkha regiment, especially in counter-insurgency operations. Modi also has mentioned about Chowta’s efforts as an organiser of the Mangaluru Lit Fest and his dedication to preserve the cultural heritage of the region.

The PM further stated in the letter, “I am certain that you will immensely contribute towards the welfare of people and the region of Dakshina Kannada.

“Through this letter, I would like to tell the people of your constituency that this is not an ordinary election. Families across India, especially the senior members, would remember the difficulties they have gone through in the last five to six decades. In the last 10 years, the quality of life of every section of society has improved, with many of these troubles removed. Yet, a lot more is still to be done and this election will be decisive in our mission to ensure a better life for everyone.

“Your exceptional service in the armed forces as a part of the Gorkha regiment, especially in counter-insurgency operations, is commendable. Additionally, your efforts as an organiser of the Mangaluru Lit Fest demonstrate your dedication to preserving the cultural heritage of the region. I am certain that you will immensely contribute towards the welfare of people and the region of Dakshin Kannada”

“With the blessings of the people, I am confident that you will reach the Parliament. Team members like you are a great asset for me. As a team, we will leave no stone unturned for the welfare of the people of your constituency and the country. Through this letter, I would like to tell the people of your constituency that this is not an ordinary election. Families across India, especially the senior members, would remember the difficulties they have gone through in the last 5-6 decades. In the last 10 years, the quality of life of every section of society has improved, with many of these troubles removed. Yet, a lot more is still to be done and this election will be decisive in our mission to ensure a better life for everyone.

“This election is an opportunity to connect our present with a bright future. Every vote that the BJP gets will go towards forming a stable government and impart momentum in our journey to become a developed nation by 2047. The people of India themselves have made up their minds to support this vision and are leading the way in this election. I am aware that the summer heat poses problems to everyone. But this election is extremely important for the future of our nation. I appeal to the voters to cast their votes early in the morning, before the heat sets in.

“It is important that our workers motivate people to go out and vote in large numbers. Focus on winning the booth. Victory in every booth leads to success in the constituency. At the same time, I request workers of our party to take care of their health and that of other people around them. As a candidate of the BJP, I urge you to convey my assurance to each voter that every moment of my time is dedicated to the welfare of my fellow citizens. I send you my wishes for your victory in the election,” stated PM Modi in the letter.

No BJP workers are visiting and canvassing in Mangaluru Urban. Disasterous for party. In some places like Bajpe, MP candidate Brijesh Chowta not present at BJP party campaign meeting today. If BJP party candidate not available at campaign before being elected as MP, just imagine what will happen once elected!!!

He's just a very junior officer from army, no. 2 from bottom of 10 ranks. If he was fit for army he would have continued. So, he's not at all army material. That is for sure. Money, my friend, money ! Don't have stomach for army ! Chalo, anyway see what happened with VK Singh, use & throw. Modi is like this, use and throw. He shouldn't waste his time. BJP will be wiped out. They could do ghanta about Soujanya murder case. He talks about JR Lobo but dare not talk about Saujanya and China ! Does he know about Gadkari bypass road project of Rs. 3,100 Cr. What has BJP done about that ? Ghanta! 850 + Motorists have died on the roads because of non implementation of this project. Where is Gadkari now ? Used and thrown ?

“Confidence is when you believe in yourself and your abilities, arrogance is when you think you are better than others and act accordingly. You could say that arrogance is false confidence and that the person displaying it is overcompensating for their inner inadequacies.” Modi's attitude behaviour/mentality etc. matches with the above quote. Superiority complex. Cultivated from way of life in the past.

When Modi led BJP, won power, India already been emerged as strong and ranked at top order among countries in world. Nehru got the country which is battered and weak. The progress in 10yrs, is pathetic. It took 10yrs to get one pumpwell bridge done, that too now in bad shape, after rains. Smart city is only for name sake, you can keep seeing contractors digging endlessly the same places over and over again. Under congress at least people had a chance to remove non-performing, political parties, MP, MLA's. Now, that too is at stake. Thats why its told aandh bhakthi in democracy, is worse than treason.

What development the twin districts has seen in the last ten years ......all the achievements were in jatka and halal, shawls and hijabs and all other nonsense which is of no use for normal life of people. All that they want is power and division in society so that they can rule and let people suffer. Mr Chowta deserves respect for having served in the Army but the same Army's ethos teaches soldiers to not only to be loyal to the country and it's constitution, but also be secular and show no discrimination based on religion, caste or gender. Is Mr Chowta adhering to those values after joining BJP? Most certainly does not look like it!!! Mangalore deserves an honest, educated, secular & hard working MP and Mr Padmaraj has all those qualities . In the past 20-25 years, we have had MP who, in all these years have played communal politics with no development work to show for. It's time for a change for the betterment of our district.

Modi-ji it is the other way around, we senior citizens had a better quality of life in the first 5-6 decades after independence. The law and order situation, the steep price rise and the cost of living has gone up in leaps and bounds under your leadership in the last 10 years. Governing the country is not your cup of tea, and it is high time that you went back to your main business of selling tea, this is the only job that suits you the best.
