Beltangady, Apr 23: Leopard movement is frequently observed in the Paccheri area of Venur in the taluk, causing people to be scared to venture out after dark.

A leopard preyed on the domestic dog of Krishnanda Bhat, a resident of Paccheri Golidadka.

The act of the leopard dragging the dog was caught on the CCTV of the house.

Krishnananda has sought protection from forest department officials against the menace of the leopard.
