Kundapur, Jun 17: The newly elected MP of the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency, Kota Srinivas Poojary, attracted public attention by taking a ride in an auto-rickshaw.
Satish Prabhu, who parks his auto-rickshaw at the Vinayaka Auto Stand in the city, is a fan of Prime Minister Modi. For the past 10 years, he has been offering rides for only one rupee on the day Modi was sworn in as Prime Minister. He has continued this offer this year as well, charging one rupee for rides in celebration of Modi becoming Prime Minister for the third time.
MP Kota Srinivas Poojary took a round in the railway station parking area in Satish Prabhu’s auto-rickshaw. He also appreciated the unique service provided by Satish Prabhu.
