Bengaluru, Jun 28: Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has organised a Vistadome train tour package to Kateel, Dharmasthala, and Kukke Subrahmanya on Saturday, June 29. The package spans 3 days including 2 nights, offering a unique experience aboard the Vistadome coach which provides 360-degree rotating seats for scenic viewing. The route covers notable attractions such as Sakaleshpura-Subrahmanya Ghat, showcasing mountains and hills along the way.
The tour itinerary details visits to religious sites such as Kateel, Dharmasthala, and Kukke, with arrangements including accommodation, meals, and ticket costs specified according to the package.
The journey commences from Yeshwanthpur railway station at 7 am on Saturday, June 29, aboard train number 16539's Vistadome coach. Passengers will enjoy natural beauty through the Vistadome until reaching Banavara railway station by 3:40 pm, where they will meet their cab driver. From there, they will proceed to Someshwara Beach for an overnight hotel stay.
On Sunday, June 30, the second day of the journey, after checking out from the hotel, the group will visit Kateel Temple followed by a visit to Dharmasthala and then Kukke. The day ends with a return to Subrahmanya railway station by 7:30 pm, followed by a drop-off at the railway station.
The tour concludes with a return journey to Bengaluru on train number 16586 departing at 8:40 pm, reaching Bengaluru by 6:15 am on July 1.
The Vistadome tour package costs Rs 17,910 for one person, Rs 11,010 for two people, Rs 9,000 for three people, Rs 7,170 for a child with a berth (5-11 years), and Rs 6,620 for a child without a berth (5-11 years).
