Udupi, Jul 8: A car was swept away by swiftly flowing water near Kannarpady-Kadekar Road, Udupi, on July 8. Fortunately, all four occupants narrowly escaped with their lives.

The incident occurred on a road completely submerged by torrential rain, causing the vehicle to be carried away in the rushing water.

One small advice to the car owners. Please go for comprehensive insurance policy every year which also includes damage to the engine due to water (floods).
