Mumbai, Nov 1: We saw him earlier in 'Dostana' leaving his audience to blush post his famous derriere flash. Now yet again, actor John Abraham will be seen flashing his body in his forth coming movie 'Desi Boyz' alongside Akshay Kumar. Before speaking any further about it, John clarified that there is nothing very 'raunchy' about the movie. He said, "The film is clean and an entire family can go and watch it." He further adds, "I would call my current flick a 'dramedy', because it has elements of drama and comedy."
Even though the actor terms his movie 'clean', a song from 'Desi Boyz' has neatly managed to raise eyebrows over John's hand gesture in the track 'Jhak Maar Ke'. Many critics from the film industry, terming it 'vulgar' and ‘objectionable’ questioned the Censor Board's decision to pass it 'without any cuts'.
Commenting on the same, John says, "I do not understand what the hue and cry is all about," he quips. The song also features Deepika Padukone. He said, "When the song was being choreographed on Deepika and me, we had a blast. It's a cute song and it was never meant to be offensive or vulgar. When we make films we have to be careful about not hurting the sentiments of the people. And if anyone is indeed offended by my hand gesture, then I'm sorry," says John.
Speaking about 'Desi Boyz', John said, "Akshay and I play the male escorts in the movie. The movie can clearly be termed as a 'costume fantasy'."
