CBI overstepping its limits in DA case investigation: D K Shivakumar

Bengaluru, Jul 16 (IANS): Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister, DK Shivakumar expressed his displeasure over the Central Bureau of Investigation's (CBI) handling of his Disproportionate Assets (DA) case, stating that the agency was overstepping its limits.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday at the Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru, Dy CM Shivakumar said, "The state government has referred the same case to the Lokayukta, which is currently investigating it. I don't understand why the CBI is going beyond its limits in their investigation."

He added, "I will meet them personally soon and convey my objections. I have done nothing wrong, and they are trying to harass many unconnected people. I'm confident that I've done nothing wrong."

When asked about Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, HD Kumaraswamy's criticism over the all-party meeting on the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu, Dy CM Shivakumar accused him of not taking interest in the Cauvery dispute.

He is not bothered about the interests of Karnataka, he stated.

"Kumaraswamy only makes allegations in a dramatic style. He is nursing a grudge against me and harbouring envy. He has been doing this since the beginning, which is why I'm asking him for a discussion," he stated.

CBI and ED have become ‘Gas Chambers’ for innocent opposition leaders. They don’t investigate any opposition leader in their custody but harass and threaten them to death if they don’t join BJP. SIT is an official investigating agency so the charges and investigation report should match with CBI and ED charge sheet. If it doesn’t match then CBI and ED should come up with proof and evidence with its charges and investigation report. The same with SIT too but definitely SIT should have all proof and evidence to blacken ED and CBI face.

875 crores is nothing compared to 20000 crores looted through electrol bonds by nakli hindu party in the last 10 years. Corruption is at the highest level, whole infrastructure built by the nakli hindu party is either collapsing or leaking, also not to forget the neet scam where students career is at stake.

Soon he will join BJP after meeting Modiji's in Ambani's son's wedding. No one wants to loose Rs.1400 crores (officially) so easily. Katakat govt is going to fall automatically. HDK will be the next CM.

He'll join BJP in your dreams. He was already offered by BJP to join them long back, BJP even used thier puppets CBI, ED to harass him with the hope of him joining them but he didn't, it really shows that his ideology differs that from BJP (Nakli hindus) who promote communal hatred & lies.
