Udupi, Jul 16: Giridhar S Suvarna of Muloor has been appointed as the new president of the management committee of Uchila Sri Mahalakshmi temple, for the term 2024-2027.

The appointment was made unanimously by all the committee members.

Narayana C Karkera, Kadipatna, has been appointed as the executive officer and Sudhakar Kundar, Bankerakatta, Malpe, as the treasurer for the temple administrative committee.

The committee also includes Mohan Bangera, Kaup and Dinesh Yermal as members.
