Mangaluru: One dead in spring manufacturing company accident

Mangaluru, Jul 23: An employee of a spring plate and accessories manufacturing unit in Maroli, who was injured in a workplace accident, succumbed to his injuries on Monday.

The deceased is identified as Pradeep Garodi (52), a resident near Kankanady Garodi.

Pradeep was injured while working inside the company on July 18 when a plate in a spring broke and hit his face. He fell backward, lost consciousness, and suffered a severe head injury. He was immediately admitted to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries on Monday.

Pradeep is survived by his wife and son.
