Puttur, Jul 28: A large boulder from the area above the Shiradi Ghat temple on National Highway 75 rolled onto the road on Saturday.
Fortunately, no damage was caused as there were no vehicles or pedestrians present at the time.
The police promptly restricted traffic on the affected stretch.
The boulder was subsequently removed using a crane, and normal traffic was resumed later the same day.
