Mangaluru, Jul 30: The Konaje police have arrested two individuals in connection with an areca nut theft case. The suspects, identified as Mohammad Riyaz and Mohammad Nijamul Haq, were apprehended on Tuesday. July 30.

The arrests followed a complaint filed at the Konaje police station about an areca nut theft in the Natekallu area on July 18.

During the investigation, the police located the suspects in the Kurnadu Mittakodi area. They seized two auto rickshaws valued at Rs 2.5 lac and 325 kilos of processed areca nuts from the suspects.
