Kundapur, Aug 3: Skeleton and parts of a cow were found tied in a gunny bag and thrown on the beach of Gangolli, inciting outrage from pro-Hindu organizations.

The cow remains, which seem to have floated from elsewhere, ended up on the Gangolli beach. The head, jaw, and carcass of the cow were found in the gunny bag. It is suspected that the cow was slaughtered and its remains discarded into the sea.

Pro-Hindu organizations have demanded stringent action against those responsible for repeatedly slaughtering cows and disposing of their remains in this manner, which they say hurts the sentiments of Hindus.

A case has been filed at the Gangolli police station based on a complaint raised by Mohan.

In India relugious sentiments are related to the food that we eat. Some dont eat non veg and keep away from non veg eaters , some dont eat pork , some have issues with pork eaters , some dont eat beef etc...if u see kerala nobody has a problem like this they eat everything and dont mind others eating something they may not eat themselves. There is a lot of religious harmony in kerala

Dear Hindu organization brothers and sisters, please dont jump into conclusion until the truth comes out. Your anger is justified. But I wish to tell you two things. One, you should show the same anger towards a few beef export companies owned by Hindus, but you are being selective, secondly the culprits who threw the beef carcass by the beach might be from a hindu organization, which has happened many times earlier. So let us all wait till the truth comes out.

Somebody is playing mischief on this sensitive subject. But, it is difficult to find out who the culprit is, as this has come floating around on the sea. Hope the police takes corrective actions.
