Mumbai, Jun 26: PNB MetLife has reported a strong claims settlement performance for the financial year 2025-26, achieving a 99.81 per cent individual claim settlement ratio and a 99.70 per cent group claim settlement ratio, reflecting its focus on timely customer support.
During FY26, the life insurer settled 6,188 individual claims amounting to Rs 526.62 crore and 6,868 group claims worth Rs 502.69 crore.

The company said 99.98 per cent of claims were settled within 30 days of receiving all the required documents. Of these, 95 per cent were settled within seven days, while 35 per cent were processed within a single day.
As part of its efforts to improve customer experience, PNB MetLife expanded its 'Claims Assure – 3 Hours' initiative, under which decisions were taken on 1,681 claims amounting to Rs 56.67 crore within three hours. The company said these claims were subsequently settled within a maximum of one week.
Customers can submit claims through multiple channels, including the khUshi mobile application, the company's website, WhatsApp, partner bank branches and PNB MetLife offices, making the process more accessible and convenient.
Commenting on the achievement, Sameer Bansal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of PNB MetLife, said every claim represents a promise fulfilled during a customer's most difficult moments.
He said the company's focus remains on delivering faster, simpler and empathetic claim settlement services, supported by investments in digital capabilities and personalised customer assistance.
