Aati Amavasya is considered an auspicious time when newlyweds offer bagina (gifts) to ensure a prosperous marital life and seek relief from ailments through sacred bathing. Consequently, many newlyweds participated in this ritual.

Devotees began arriving as early as 3 am this morning to witness the divine darshan. Arrangements were made to distribute milk, kashaya (herbal decoction), and midday meals to the devotees. Various groups performed devotional songs, enhancing the spiritual atmosphere.

The event was attended by officials including Bantwal Tahsildar Archana Bhat, Bantwal DySP Vijendra Prasad, and religious council member Mallika Pakkal, along with other dignitaries.

Narahari Sri Sadashiva Temple: At the picturesque Narahari Sri Sadashiva Temple, the Aati Amavasya rituals were conducted with reverence.

Devotees formed long lines from early morning to partake in the sacred bathing and receive the divine prasada. Situated at a height of a thousand feet above sea level, Narahari Hill is known for its natural beauty and the harmonious presence of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva.

The temple, surrounded by lush greenery and serene landscapes, offers a unique spiritual experience. It is believed that performing rituals here during Aati Amavasya and Shravana Amavasya fulfills all desires and grants relief from various ailments.

Devotees also believe that offering ropes made of jute, performing certain rituals, and donations can bring prosperity, alleviate fears, and enhance chances of having children.
