Udupi, Aug 8: The Arbi waterfalls in Manipal has become a major tourist attraction due to heavy rains in July, transforming it into a stunning natural spectacle.

Nestled in a dense forest, the waterfall cascades gracefully over rocks, creating a breathtaking view reminiscent of a milky stream. Its abundant flow during the monsoon has attracted thousands of tourists seeking a refreshing escape from the bustle of Manipal.

Located at Arbi Kodi, 80th Badagubettu village, Udupi, the falls are accessible 3 kilometres from Manipal via Alevoor and a kilometer-long walk from Dasharatha town towards the Vaishnavi Durga Temple.

Visitors have been advised to be cautious of slippery stones but generally find the site safe. Ashwini, a first-time visitor, said, “Despite being born and raised here, I only recently discovered this place through social media. It is a beautiful spot, though we need to stay cautious.”

Avinash, another tourist, noted, “This is a great local spot. It is important to prioritise safety and keep the area clean. This is my second visit, and unlike other waterfalls, it is safe enough for children.”

The Arbi waterfalls' seasonal surge continues to be a popular and picturesque destination.

Beutiful.Ashwini has right. Many people who are natives have certainly not seen See ,natural places They take it for granted nature is so.We too appriciate it when go with others and admire it.One hsould keep such places unchanged and without dirt and plastic thrown which is dangerous for animals and nature ,humans.Think its your home and leave it back as it was clean naturell.

Please don't give publicity to this tourist spot. It will end up with a lot of plastic, bottles and other waste thrown here and there. We don't know how to maintain our public places.
