Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (MS)

Udupi, Aug 11: Despite the academic year having started two months ago, some textbooks for Commerce and Science streams in the first year of Pre-University (PU) are reportedly still unavailable.

Most Science subjects require NCERT textbooks, but their unavailability has caused inconvenience, especially for students in rural areas, according to a lecturer.

The lecturer noted that textbooks for subjects like Psychology, Computer Science, and Statistics are yet to be made available.

Its normal in India.Even though soon exams may start ,books are not available to students.Even in my time it was so ,now after 70years also not changed. Our system of school education is still in baby age. Here they prepare for the next year class start before they give summer holidays. Before end of the year students know whether they are failed or pass so that they can register first.
