Udupi, Aug 13: The MLA of Udupi assembly constituency, Yashpal Suvarna, visited the site of the collapsed minor bridge on the Indrali Sagri School connecting road in Moodusagri ward, accompanied by officials for an inspection.
Due to the damage and the subsequent closure of the bridge, the public in the area has been facing significant inconveniences.
In response, an allocation of Rs 9.50 lac has already been sanctioned through the city municipality for the construction of a new minor bridge. Suvarna has directed officials to commence the work immediately.
During the inspection, city municipality members Bharathi Prashanth, city BJP president Dinesh Amin, party leaders Prashanth, Hemant, Sadananda Nayak, Suma Nayak, city municipality AEE Durgaprasad, and engineer Chetan were present.
