Bengaluru, Aug 14: Search operations resumed on Wednesday, August 14, to locate Kerala lorry driver Arjun and two others missing since a landslide struck Shirur village in Uttara Kannada district. The landslide, which occurred on National Highway 66 on July 16, resulted in the deaths of eight people.

Search efforts were paused on July 28 due to adverse weather, high river currents, and other factors.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan recently urged Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to restart the search for the missing individuals.
