Sullia, Jun 26: A young woman from Kerala has been rewarded with Rs 1 lac in cash for her honesty after returning a lost six-sovereign gold bracelet to its rightful owner.

Bhojappa Ajila, a resident of Adthale, had accidentally dropped the bracelet while getting into his car after attending a wedding ceremony at Adkar Marriage Hall near Jalsur on June 21. Despite searching extensively, he was unable to locate it and later shared information about the missing bracelet on social media.

The bracelet was found by a young woman from Chattanjalu in Kerala, who had also attended the same wedding. After noticing the social media posts regarding the lost ornament, she immediately contacted Bhojappa and returned the bracelet to him.

Appreciating the woman's honesty, Bhojappa honoured her with a cash reward of Rs 1 lac and also presented her with a gold ring as a token of gratitude.
