Mangaluru, Aug 17: Shahida (47) died after her scooter was struck by a car near the city's fishing port on Friday. She was a teacher at a private school in Kasba.
Shahida was on her way to school on Friday August 16 when a car collided with her scooter, causing her death on the spot.
She was a resident of Someshwara Pilaru Darandabagilu.
Shahida is survived by her husband, Mohammed, an ASI at the Ullal police station, along with two daughters and a son.
