Kaup, Aug 18: A scooter rider lost his life after his vehicle skidded and hit a roadside drain on the Belapu Punchalakadu road on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Jagadeesh Moolya (33), a resident of Adamaru Bandasaale. Jagadeesh had returned to his hometown just a week ago from overseas. The accident occurred while he was on his way home from Punchalakadu via the Belapu road.
Jagadeesh sustained a severe head injury after his scooter collided with the wall of the roadside drain, leading to fatal bleeding.
Jagadeesh was the eldest son of Ashok Moolya and Sharada Moolya, residents of Adamaru Bandasaale. He is survived by his parents and wife. The Shirva police have registered a case in this regard.
