KPCC campaign committee president Vinay Kumar Sorake, along with Dinesh Kini, Kishan Hegde, MLC Manjunath Bhandary, Gopal Poojary, Uday Kumar Shetty Muniyal, Prasadraj Kanchan, Dinesh Hegde, and others were present.
Addressing the protest, Vinay Kumar Sorake stated, "The governor has disregarded our constitution by permitting prosecution against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. No investigation officer has been appointed for the MUDA scam. Siddaramaiah, who has no blemish on his record, has implemented numerous welfare programs through the budget. The prosecution notice is driven purely by political motives. Modi's 10-year achievement is buying legislative members. Siddaramaiah raised his voice against the central government's partiality and rulings towards state governments. They want to dismantle the government formed by the people. The governor has forgotten his duty. Our guarantee scheme is our strength, and it is being implemented effectively. Our fight against the governor's actions will continue in every district."
MLC Manjunath Bhandary, addressing the gathering, added, "Since Congress came to power, they cannot bear it. They are dreaming of removing the Congress government using the governor. The governor is acting as an agent of Amit Shah. Cases like Murgesh Nirani and Shashikala Jolle's corruption are ignored by the governor and not even reviewed by the Lokayukta. The governor did not even read the complaint before granting permission for prosecution; he has undermined the state's democracy."
