Swamijis from BCs, Dalits, and oppressed sections pledge support to CM Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru, Aug 25: Nine Swamijis from the Backward Classes, Dalits, and Oppressed Sections Federation met with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at his official residence, Cauvery, on Sunday. They extended their wholehearted and unconditional support to the Chief Minister.

The Federation strongly condemned the attempts by the Centre and the Raj Bhavan to undermine the Congress government over the MUDA site allotment issue. The Swamijis promised that their communities would rally firmly behind the Chief Minister.

The Swamijis present at the meeting were:

  4. Jagadguru Sri Basavamurthy Madarachannaiah Mahaswamiji, Chitradurga
  5. Jagadguru Sri Purushothamanandapuri Mahaswamiji, Bhagirath Peetha, Madhure
  6. Sri Ishwaranandapuri Mahaswamiji, Kanaka Gurupeetha, Hosadurga
  7. Sri Renukananda Swami, Narayana Gurupeetha, Shivamogga
  8. Sri Basava Machideva Mahaswamiji, Madiwala Gurupeetha, Chitradurga
  9. Sri Annadani Bharati Appanna Swamiji, Hadapada Appanna Guruupeetha, Thangadagi

Their unified support highlights the significant influence of these leaders in the current political landscape.
