Bantwal: Vasu Poojary Loretto takes charge as new municipal president

Bantwal, Aug 28: Vasu Poojary Loretto officially took charge as the new president of the Bantwal municipality on Wednesday. The outgoing president, Mohammad Sharif, handed over the responsibilities and extended his best wishes to the new president.

Former Minister Ramanath Rai, who was present at the event, congratulated Vasu Poojary Loretto and advised him to prioritize the development of the town by working with the trust and cooperation of all members.

The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including Bantwal Town Planning Authority president Baby Kunder, KPCC secretary Padmaraj R Poojary, KPCC member Pius L Rodrigues, Panemangalore Block Congress president Chandrashekhar Bhandari, former president Sudeep Kumar Rai, former municipal vice president Jacintha D'Souza, former zilla panchayat members Chandraprakash Shetty and Padmashekhar Jain, Bantwal Block Congress president Balakrishna Anchan, Sanjeeva Poojari Bollai, president of Sajipamunnur Moorthedarara Seva Sahakari Sangha, Bantwal Block Congress Kisan unit president Sudhakar Shenai Khandige, and other prominent figures like Mahabala Bangera, Manohar Nerambolu, Ammu Arbigudde, Jagannath Tumbe, Ibrahim Nawaz, Devappa Kulal, as well as municipal members, nominated members, and staff.
