Mangaluru, Aug 29: Mangaluru is set to host a major district-level seminar on September 3, to hounor the 27th Memorial Day of Saint Mother Teresa. Titled "A Journey of Love and Coexistence in the Aspirations of the Constitution," the event will begin at 10 am at Kudmul Ranga Rao Town Hall and promises to be a key highlight in the city's calendar of events.

The seminar, organised by the Saint Mother Teresa Forum, Mangaluru, and Samarasya Mangaluru, will feature a notable lineup of speakers and activities.

Sasikanth Senthil, former IAS officer and current Member of Parliament, will inaugurate the seminar. Legislative Council member B K Hariprasad will deliver the keynote address, while social thinker and writer Ayesha Farzana U T will provide her insights. The event will be presided over by Roy Castelino, president of the Saint Mother Teresa Forum.

The day’s festivities will kick off with a harmony concert at 8:30 am, showcasing performances by renowned singers Nada Maninalkur and Leo Ranipur. This musical prelude aims to set a unifying and celebratory tone for the seminar, which will focus on celebrating Saint Mother Teresa’s legacy and exploring the principles of coexistence and love.

The Saint Mother Teresa Forum, dedicated to propagating Mother Teresa’s message of love and service, has been actively involved in various community programs over the years. Samarasya Mangaluru, with its commitment to promoting regional harmony, will also recognise Sasikanth Senthil for his contributions to community unity during the seminar.
