Udupi: Locals express outrage over indecent photoshoot by Mumbai YouTuber

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (MS)

Udupi, Aug 31: The controversy surrounding a Mumbai-based YouTuber’s indecent photoshoot at Padubidri beach four days ago has sparked widespread outrage across the state.

Local fishermen have warned against crossing cultural boundaries in the name of promoting tourism. In response, YouTuber Khyatishree has taken to social media to accuse the police, a move that has ignited intense discussion online.

Khyatishree expressed her frustration on Instagram, accusing both the locals and the police of objecting to her bikini photoshoot, which was conducted by her husband. Her post has elicited strong reactions from many netizens.

Dr K Arun, SP of Udupi, commented on the incident, stating, "The public lodged a complaint with the police, reporting that a young man and woman were behaving indecently on the Blue Flag beach at Padubidri. ASI and personnel on duty responded to the scene, informed the couple about the nearby residential area, and asked them to leave the beach. No untoward incident occurred. We have contacted the woman and encouraged her to voice any grievances she may have. If we receive a complaint from her, appropriate action will be taken as per the law."

You will find the people who objected to this in the 'gadang' with 'totte' in the evening or in some bar with cheap liqour and having brawls in underwear without 'mundu' and falling in gutter. Check their phones and you will find loads of porn.

No wonder we can not even compete in pool sports in International games. What the hell is wrong in bikini? People with jaundice have a problem that everyone knows. If Indian women want to learn how to swim in a saree, no one can help. We are still in 15th century. No one have problem when women are paraded naked and raped. What this people from Nellore, Kodyadka, Benguluru, Mangalore, Surathkal, Kinnigoly, kinni mulki/udpi ? Someone rightly said " THE WRONG IS IN THE EYES WHO LOOKS AT". These same people change the colour when Muslim women wear burka and asks why they cant be just normal like others?

Which era are we living in?? When will this narrow mindset change?? Are they harming anyone?? Was it a place of worship?? Were they being intimate?? If no then what's the problem?? This is exactly why our country is going backwards and not moving forward when it comes to progressive thinking We have an issue if a guy and a girl only hold hands Guy and a girl talking is also a problem All this needs to change for a better tomorrow

When Mangalorean girl was in swimsuit in Miss Universe contest people did not say 'Go to Goa' ;););) Moreover Goa follows Portuguese culture and not British. Correct your history. The people who bark about culture are the same people who watch movies with nudity and they have no issues. Pili vesha with chaddi is acceptable, peeing by a man standing on the street is acceptable, the lady in swimsuit on beach with her husband is not acceptable. Heights of hypocrisy

Freedom must not be at the cost of modesty and a conservative society. Modernisation must be a role model for social upgrading, not going back to nudity as tribals. Be Indian in India.

even in next 1000 years this country will not improve when it comes to looking at females....for them it is just physical gratification that comes to mind... that is why even now in western countries indian males are approached cautiously by women

If she was wearing beach swimming dress then no objection should be raised. We have the tendency of wearing full dress, pant & shirt while swimming which is dangerous.
