Court denies bail to Pavithra Gowda, Anu Kumar in Renukaswamy murder case


Bengaluru, Aug 31: The 57th City Civil and Sessions Court has denied bail to Pavithra Gowda (Accused 1) and Anu Kumar (Accused 7) in the Renukaswamy murder case. The court rejected their bail applications on Saturday, August 31.

Tommy Sebastian argued on behalf of Pavithra Gowda, while senior lawyer Ramsingh represented Anu Kumar. After considering the arguments, the court issued its ruling around 4:30 pm, denying bail to both the accused.

The bail application for Pavithra Gowda was first filed on August 19.

The City Civil and Sessions Court had originally scheduled a hearing for August 28 but postponed it to August 31. On Saturday, following further hearings, the court reaffirmed its decision to deny bail.
