Mangaluru: New bus shelter inaugurated at Vamanjoor

Mangaluru, Sep 2: A new bus stand was inaugurated in memory of Shivanna Shetty, located near Amrithanagar Circle, Vamanjoor on Sunday, September 1. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Rajesh Shetty, senior divisional officer of the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, who was the chief guest for the occasion.

Additionally, a free medical camp was organized by Sharada Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Talapady. The camp provided healthcare services to the community.

Both the inauguration and the medical camp were organized by the Amrithanagar Paura Samiti (R), reflecting their commitment to community development and welfare.

Praveen Chandra Alva, Tiruvailguthu, leader of opposition, MCC, Hemalatha Raghu Salian, member Tiruvail Ward, MCC, Rajesh Kottari, president BJP north legislative assembly constituency, Rajkumar Shetty, vice president, civic committee were present on the dais.

The programme was presided over by president of civic committee Laxman Shettigar. The medical camp was conducted by Dr Kartik Rai.

Rajkumar Shetty, who donated the bus stand in memory of his late father and other eminent personalities who cooperated for the success of the programme were felicitated.
