Udupi, Sep 4: Zilla panchayath, director office public education department, Manipal announced the recipients of 'District Level Best Teacher Award' in Udupi district school level for 5 lower primary, one higher primary, 5 high school section and 6 principals for the academic year 2024-2025.

In high school section, Kamal Ahemmad art teacher of government high school Shivapura Karkala, Manjunath Shetty physical education teacher of government pre-university college (high school section) Uppunda Baindoor, Jyothi Krishna Poojary associate teacher Somabangera government high school Kodikanya Brahmavar, and Malathi Vakwadi associate teacher of government pre-university college (high school) Malpe, are chosen for the award.

In higher primary section, Bhaskar Poojary, associate teacher K P S Kokkarne Brahmavar and in lower primary section, Khathun B associate teacher government higher primary school Mallar Urdu Udupi, Raviraj Shetty physical education teacher government higher primary school Haikadi Brahmavar. Shrinivas Shetty is an associate teacher of government lower primary school Gopadi Padu Kundapur and Amitha B associate teacher of government lower primary school Barandadi Baindoor, will be conferred with the award. 

Karunakar Shetty principal of K P S Bidkalkatte Kundapur, Ramakrishna Bhat principal of government higher primary school Santoorukopla Udupi, Shetty Shashikala Narayana principal of government higher primary school Kairabettu Karkala, Jayananda Patagara principal of government higher primary school Heranjalu Baindoor, Seetharama Shetty principal of government higher primary school Hagloor Kundapura, and Malini principal of government higher primary school Kuchchur-2 Karkala will be receiving the honour.
