Engines of high capacity are vulnerable to oil drip on the engine exhaust manifold which has a very high temperature. Perol cars are more at risk than diesel. While oil filter change causion needs to be practiced to avoid any oil spillage on the high heat areas. BMW are known for oil leakage with age if not properly maintained. However, we have no knowlege on the cause of fire in this news clip.

I have much experience in the Gulf about BMW and Mercedes cars. Albeit these are considered luxury cars they breakdown on the roads. While Japanese cars are more safe trouble free on the roads.

These fancy high end cars may not have been manufactured to the same strict safety standards as required in developed nations; moreover it's a waste of precious money to buy & use such costly cars on the treacherous road conditions, here, except for showoff!
