Ladyhill Victoria Girls’ Composite PU College organises bridal makeup competition

Mangaluru, Sep 6: Ladyhill Victoria Composite P U college organized bridal makeup competition on September 5 for all students in the PUC auditorium.

Bridal makeup often involves the use of full coverage and long-lasting products. The students were prior informed about the rules of the competition. In this event, there were 22 groups, each comprising of two students participated enthusiastically, with one student dressing the other in bridal attire.

The event was adjudged by Jane Crasta (professional make-up artist), Raheeda Mohammed Zubair (alumna of Ladyhill Victotia Composite P U College), Roopa and Bhavyashree.

The criteria for judgement were overall look, presentation and relevance of the theme. Students were given a platform to show their makeup skills, hairstyle and enhance their competitive skills. The brides were made to present themselves in front of the judges with an impressive bridal walk to the rhythm of the music. Students learned that how to do makeup for spot light events.

Archana of I PUC commerce was the student in-charge for the event. The best makeups were further considered for the prizes. Lecturer in-charge was Preethika D’Souza (lecturer in economics).
