Mangaluru, Sep 6: Srinivas University Institute of Port, Shipping & Logistics Management organized the much-anticipated 'Kala Avishkar 2024', an inter-collegiate cultural fest, at its city campus, Pandeshwar. The event drew participation from several institutions, showcasing an impressive range of artistic talent.
The fest was inaugurated by S Shanthi, deputy chairperson of New Mangalore Port Authority, while the ceremony was presided over by Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, chancellor of Srinivas University. Chief guest Dr A Srinivas Rao, pro-chancellor Srinivas University, along with esteemed members of the board of governors, A Vijayalakshmi R Rao and Prof A Mitra S Rao, vice chancellor Dr. Satyanarayana Reddy, development registrar Dr Ajay Kumar were present for the event.
The valedictory function featured Mustafa, entrepreneur and owner of New Bharath Infrastructure, as the chief guest, who motivated students to pursue their passions and congratulated the university for organizing such a cultural platform.
Dr Sonia Noronha, dean of Institute of Port, Shipping & Logistics Management, programme coordinators Prof Sagar Srinivas, Prof Bhavya Krishna Nayak, Prof Souparnika and Prof Akshatha Samson were present.
