Udupi, Sep 8: In a heartening display of interfaith harmony, the Inter-Religious Dialogue Committee from St Anne Church, paid a courtesy visit to the Thottam Ganeshotsav celebrations on September 7. This gesture underscores the growing spirit of mutual respect and understanding between different religious communities in the area.

The delegation from St Anne Church was led by parish priest Fr Denis D’Sa and included key members of the parish pastoral committee, Sunil Fernandes, vice president, Blecilla Crasta, secretary, Vanitha Fernandes, coordinator of 20 Commissions, Leslie Arouza, PPC member, Agnel Fernandes, coordinator, Inter-Religious Dialogue Committee, Clarence Fernandes, media coordinator, Calvin D'Souza, media coordinator, Patrick Crasta, Inter-Religious Dialogue Committee member.

The visiting group expressed their sincere gratitude for the warm welcome they received. They were particularly touched by the cordiality and hospitality extended by their Hindu brethren during the visit.
